What a
tremendous response we have had to the opening of our new school! Thanks to all
of you who wrote to me, those who have asked questions (we are trying to answer
everyone) and, of course, those early enrollees who have already signed up for
our first course as well as those who announced their attention to do so! I am
looking forward to talking with all of you - live in our September classes.
I had the honor to judge the 9th Annual FMP show (From My
Perspective) at Ann Kullberg’s online magazine this year

was a difficult task to choose a few winners from so many wonderful entries.
Announcement:
Due to shipping restrictions, we will exclude Odorless Mineral Spirits (OMS) from our complementary art supply kit. You will need to purchase this or an equivalent solvent from an art supply vendor prior to the class. In place of this component we will be including extra colored pencils in your kit. Please refer to FAQ for more information.

The last day for enrollment in the September Course
#1 is August 10.
After that, we will be accepting enrollment for the
same Course #1 and the next course in the series, Course # 2, starting on
October 6.

Welcome to my totally new and updated website!
I have a few exiting news items to share with you.
· My new book "Colored Pencil Painting Bible. (Techniques for Achieving Luminous Color and Ultra-Realistic Effects)" will be available this winter from Random House/Watson-Guptill Publications.
· My work "Blazing Bells" has been juried into the Colored Pencil Society of America 16th Annual International Exhibition. If you are in Seattle this summer please make sure to stop by and check it out.
· We will have The Grand Opening of my new Online Colored Pencil Painting School this September.
