“I love working in colored pencil, but the process can be very time consuming. I learned from videos produced by Lisa Clough-Lachri Fine Art how to use the Brush and Pencil products and was so impressed not only with the works she was able to create but also how much faster she was able to finish a piece. I tested this out myself for the first time on my piece “Tiger cub” and found that I could complete the piece in much less time and that the colors were vibrant and bold. The textured fixative worked brilliantly and allowed me to add lighter colors for highlights easily, which is typically difficult on other surfaces. Plus, when I found that the paper would not take any more pencil or began to get muddy, I could spray a layer of textured fixative and keep on going- this is priceless!
